On the spectrum from "modern" to "traditional" Barolo, this leans strongly toward the latter with its gripping tannic structure and bold, earthy-floral profile. Nevertheless, its sourcing from a mix of sites in the subzones of Barolo, La Morra, and Castiglione Falletto imbues this with a medium-full weight and finessed edges. Serve at 65F after an hour or so of aeration in the decanter, and pair with rich, flavorful dishes.
