A blend of two distinct single blended rums, both 14 years of age. One aged 5 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels then transferred to Ex-Cognac Casks for 9 additional years, and a second aged 12 years in Ex-Bourbon Barrels then transferred into Ex-Camus Cognac Casks for an additional 2 years. Bottled at 61% ABV – 122 Proof. No sugar, no additives, no filtration.
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Charred oak, dried figs, canned plums, walnuts, peaches, red apples, marmalade, ginger. Blackcurrants, black grapes, raw cocoa nibs and cinnamon sticks.
Palate: Charred oak, ripe plums, dried figs, rich honey, Angelica root, black grapes, maple syrup and blackcurrant.
