TIM ATKIN 95 POINTS - "This wine does an incredible job of hiding its 40% new oak. The bold fruit ripeness completely absorbs it. Almond skin, apricot hull and a wee hint of smoke meld nicely into the palate. There is lots of sap and structure, too. Make sure you don't miss the long finish, which creeps up from the effusive palate of freshly sliced orchard fruits."
BURGHOUND 92 - 94 POINTS - "Note that 2022 will be the last vintage for several years as the vines were pulled up after the harvest. Here too the nose is quite firmly reduced and offering nothing. By contrast, there is both excellent punch and freshness to the succulent and equally stony middleweight flavors that terminate in a compact, bone-dry and built-to-age finale that is sufficiently tightly wound to need at least 5 years or so of keeping first.
