100% Nebbiolo-Flavio Roddolo releases his wines later than most producers. Like their maker, the wines are slow to reveal themselves;complex, intense, eloquent, and certainly worth the wait...With great respect for his land, he farms his 6 hectares of vineyards (using biodynamic and organic methods). A purist, Roddolo works with indigenous yeasts only, and chooses not to clarify or filter his wines.
In the cellar, old barrels serve merely as containers in which the wines age and gain structure, as Flavio strongly believes that "wood should never be used to alter the flavors, the very essence of a wine."
