    Great juice at 103 proof for the price

    The nose is really sweet and fruity. The palate is sweet, apple, pear, cocoa, a little oak, vanilla, and some black pepper and cinnamon as well. A very nice mouthfeel. The finish is much longer than I expected with a gentle Kentucky hug at the very end. When compared to bottles twice the price, it may lag in finesse and complexity, but it will not embarrass itself

    Fighting Cock Bourbon - IMO

    A good, little bourbon for the price. Over-proofed, so a good mixer for sweeter drinks (think: old fashions, vieux carre, or highball). A bit powerful on the tongue as a sipper, but because of the overproof. Interesting nose, can't pin it, nice brown sugar and "thick" tongue, smooth finish when you get past the overproof. For the money, I'd get it again.
