Stunning gold in color this anejo is aged five years in oak. Bold on the attack; yet still mellow and soft. Smooth complexity with tons of intensity; the nose shows high levels of earthy, wet cement agave, and oak, mixed with moderate levels of spice, fruit, and caramel. A sumptuous oily feel in the mouth despite it's low sweetness. Flavored with oak and agave; highlighted by fruit, pepper and overripe apple. Low sweetness and medium bitterness in the finish leads to a long-lasting oaky finish that is marred by a persistent alcohol burn.
