Don Julio Gonzales began making tequila in 1942. He and his family soon produced a popular label in Mexico called Tres Magueyes before releasing the "good stuff" (his family's reserve) under the Don Julio label.
Nose: Bright vegetal scents of fleshy succulents, black pepper, lime sorbet, and vanilla.
Palate: Vanilla and creamy with an underlying taste of dried rosemary and oranges.
Finish: Black pepper and salinity that reminds you of the salty air at the beach during summer.
