The vineyard on the Hills of Chassagne Montrachet is surrounded by Grand Montagne and Caillerets 1er cru. This wine from 50yr old vines is vinified and aged in 30% new French oak for 18 months. The wine has great strength with a wonderful balance of fruit and mineral tones. It provides wonderful apple flavors with a stony characteristic that makes this wine seductive.
