After having succeeded in everything in the Côte de Nuits, the Dugat-Py estate has set itself a new challenge: that of producing great wines in the Côte de Beaune. This has been done since the early 2000s. The estate has indeed acquired superb plots in the Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pernand-Vergelesses and Corton-Charlemagne appellations. Like Bernard Dugat-Py's wines, this La Levrière Très Vieilles Vignes Pommard reaches the level of many of the region's premier crus and has the appearance of those of Gevrey. It combines intense concentration with beautiful finesse. Superb, it will improve after a few years of cellaring.
