History,
Armagnac distilled at Domaine de Jean-Bon in Toujouse in the Bas-Armagnac appellation of Gascony in southern France Blend of Baco and Ugni Blanc distilled in 2015 on a travelling alambic Armagnacais (short copper column still)
Aged in 400-liter French oak barrels for six years and bottled in 2022
Tasting Notes,
The nose offers complex aromas of pencil eraser, wet wildflowers, mushroom, tarragon, almond biscotti and sun-baked soil. Fans of rye will respond to a mid-palate of sharp herbs, dried apricot, flaxseed, and lemon zest. Dried bay leaf and eucalyptus have the final say on the finish.
