Anybody who has walked into our store asking for a great domestic Bordeaux-blend recommendation has sure heard us talking up the Desparada wines from winemaker Valia Esh. Valia is a woman who has managed to understand winemaking quicker and with more detail than many other winemakers...to a point where others are jealous! This year's Sackcloth and Ashes is comprised of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Petit Verdot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Merlot .
