DeLeon's distillery and agave fields are situated in an idyllic mountain region with elevation of higher than 7,500 feet that are fed pure water from two natural spring wells that serve this distillery only. This tequila is masterfully distilled, paying exacting attention to every detail of the process before being aged for well over a year in French Oak. This certifiable a¤ejo is then put into Sauternes barrels for additional enhancement to achieve a spirit that is incomparably elegant and exquisite to savor. On the nose you are enticed by tones of caramel, clean-rich agave, peaches, yellow apples, cream, straw and well integrated delicate spice. The full, supple, round and silky mouth feel maintains an intricate balance revealing soft French butter, white truffle oil, clean nutmeg, white pepper and peaches stewed with mild, sweet peppers.
