The Name... Enfier d’Arvier means the “hell of Arvier,” a reference to the warmth of this Valle d'Aosta vineyard site in summer. It has a compelling rusticity with a wild berry impression and a lively freshness on the palate. Hypnotically aromatic. Deeply pitched and rustic while simultaneously crunchy, spicy and animated. Production at the Thomain estate is approximately 2500 bottles per year. Aged in stainless steel, and neither filtered nor fined. "Lutte raisonnee" farming.
