Every November, The Dalmore whisky makers visit the distillery’s historic sandstone warehouses to explore the ageing casks. In the chill shadows, our casks are meticulously assessed and only a handful with distinguishing attributes are hand-selected from any one year. The mature spirit from these casks is then masterfully married to create one harmonious expression – a rare whisky revealing the soul of a single year at The Dalmore.
Carefully crafted, finely balanced, and bringing together the very finest casks from one year, each limited release single malt will then take its rightful place in The Vintage Collection.
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Milk chocolate, caramel, mandarin, and cracked black pepper
Palate: Manuka honey, sweet cacao, poached apples, and golden sultanas
Finish: Vanilla cream, chocolate brioche, Navelina orange, and light cinnamon
