The 2022-edition of The Dalmore 30 Year Old single malt has been matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and finished in tawny port pipes which previously held Graham's 1982 Single Harvest Tawny Port.
Nose: The nose opens with intense aromas of Victoria plums and caramelized apples. These fruity notes are complemented by hints of gingerbread and brioche, promising a tasting rich in sensations.
Palate: The palate is smooth and delicious, dominated by flavors of Maraschino cherries and red fruits. The melon in Port brings an enveloping sweetness, while the finish, long and persistent, reveals notes of coffee, liquorice and ginger, enhanced by a hint of blood orange and dark chocolate.
