Originally named after Mt. Mazama, the volcano that erupted to become Crater Lake. Crater Lake Pepper Vodka starts with Crater Lake Vodka and then they infuse six different kinds of peppers (sweet and hot). The smells lead with peppers, soft, supple, spicy peppers. The flavors evolve with both red and green pepper; this tastes like they tossed all their cooked and raw peppers alike into good clean vodka, let it sit for a while and then took the solids out, or in a word, YUMMY. The flavors surprise, it seems like it is going to burn, like it is going to be really hot, but it stays in equilibrium showing intricate nuance and elegant sapidity. This vodka is loaded superlative pepper dimensionality delivered in an oily, full mouth-feel that is loaded with toothsome goodness. Have this neat, with a twist or in a spicy cocktail.
