Hedonism Quindecimus is a limited edition release from Compass Box, created in celebration of the 15th anniversary of their spectacular Hedonism blended grain whisky (which was their first bottling!). Made with a selection of grain whiskies of various ages from a number of different distilleries, this is handsomely complex and vibrantly flavoursome - oh yes, Hedonism Quindecimus is one to write home about.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Freshly baked almond croissant, buttery brioche, coconut nougat and juicy oranges. Nutmeg, cinnamon and five-spice waft in.
Palate: Salted toffee and crumbly vanilla fudge, decadently layered with clove, more five-spice and ripe mango.
Finish: Waxy peels, milk chocolate and vanilla ice-cream full of tiny caramel chunks.
Overall: Just jam-packed with stellar old-grain-whisky yumminess.
