Its fruit is notably ripe, almost coulis-like in tone, staining the palate in its intensity, and its aromas persist with excellent length, supported by a tense, vibrant structure. While this might not be as complete as the magnificent 2009 or 2008 were, this is hardly a fault, as it’s a highly compelling and soil-expressive wine in its own right. You will want to buy this, if you are fortunate enough to be allocated a bottle or two. Last tasted: 3/15."

It's important that the roots go deep into the ground in order to extract real minerality, and sometimes our roots go down more than 20 meters."
