The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet is a blend of three vineyards. It has a little more concentration on the nose compared to the two Santenays with raspberry and wild strawberry to the fore. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, fresh and chalky, lively with a brittle, you could almost say "bony" finish that is full of tension and freshness.VINOUS
An unusually perfumed and exceptionally pretty nose freely reveals its aromas of the essence of various red berries, pepper and an appealing variety of floral elements. There is more volume and richness still to the vibrant and attractively textured flavors that are also largely built on their fruit, which should permit this delicious effort to be enjoyed on the younger side.
