Invecchiata (aged) grappa produced at Caffo Distilleria Friulia in Udine, Italy Made from 100% Italian red and white grape pomace. Distilled in a bain-marie-style alembic pot still wherein the grape skins are steam distilled.
Aged in oak casks for 1 year
Tasting Notes,
Nose: provides aromas of steamed jasmine rice, stone ground wheat, wood pulp, and cherimoya custard apple
Palate: The palate shows great balance of dry fruit and barrel notes with red apple skin, sourdough bread, and toasted barley with faint vanilla and white oak on the finish.
