Garblet Sue', aka Altenasso, is a vineyard of Castiglione Falletto that gently slopes toward the enclosed valley of Barolo (the town). The old marl soils and temperate spot leads to a deep color and generous forest-berry fruit character (without being overripe), and a gentle, rounded tannic structure. This makes it a great choice for enjoying relatively early on.
