Brezza's southeastern-facing plots in the historic heart of this famous vineyard create an elegantly-structured Barolo in which vibrancy and firm tannins are imbued into the deep, fragant red-toned fruit. This kind of Barolo is best around 10 years from vintage, but can be enjoyed after a couple more years (just leave it in the decanter for several hours).

Sweet, perfumed and silky, the 2019 bristles with Cannubi character. Crushed red berry fruit, cedar, mint, rose petal and orange zest are some of the notes that grace this exquisite but potent Barolo. Give the tannins a few years to soften."
The historical Brezza family winery goes back to 1885, and to 1910 with their first branded bottling. Based around the town of Barolo itself, their wines are traditional expressions of the area's elegantly-styled Barolos. Aging is in classic large (3000L), untoasted Slavonian oak barrels. The Barolos are neither filtered nor fined.
