Bodegas Estefania is a family farm in Bierzo, a historic winemaking region that's known for their Mencia reds. Neighbor and Bierzo guru, Raul Perez, helped to get them on the right track, with minimal intervention winemaking and organic practices in the vineyards.
This delicious, easy-drinking Mencia has notes of crushed violets and lavender that give way to an abundance of vibrant, ripe red fruit aromas with a balsam edge. On the palate, it's soft and juicy, with a mouthwatering finish of those fruit tones tinged by stony-earth and dark spice.
