Black Bull 50 Year Old - Sir Nick Faldo Collection - Description This limited edition blended scotch whisky, brings together the legendary Black Bull with legendary golfer Sir Nick Faldo, to celebrate the ‘Tale of Two Legends’ Black Bull 50 Year Old is limited to six hundred bottles and the casks were hand selected by Sir Nick Faldo, and blended by the Chairman of Black Bull Co., Euan C. Shand. Featuring Malts from Caperdonich distillery, which is long since closed, and others from highly reputable distilleries such as Macallan and Glen Grant – all of which are fifty years and older. The grains comprise of Invergordon - the most northernly located grain distillery, and Cameronbridge – the oldest and largest grain distillery in Scotland. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherrywood casks Black Bull 50 Year Old is indicative of the qualities these seasoned casks possess, along with the characteristics of the distillate. Tasting Notes Colour: Copper. Nose: Damsons, chocolate covered cherries, highland toffee, cedarwood, Mediterranean herbs and olives. Caramelised orange peel. Palate: Mouth coating citrus notes carried forward with vanilla cream and floral honey. Finish: Long-lasting with a perfect balance of fruit, spice and toasted oak.
