One of our darkest-hued Armagnacs, BHAKTA 1956 shows burnt caramel, hummus, overripe fruit, forest floor, and leather library chairs on the nose, followed by dark chocolate, hazelnut, and praline on the palate. In history, 1956 was defined by IBM’s invention of the first computer disk, the introduction of the snooze alarm clock, and the creation of the Interstate Highway System.
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Figs and walnuts; caramel
Palate: Candied orange and gingerbread
Finish: Powerful but short finish
