Hand made by two men at Speyside’s smallest working distillery, Benromach Organic is the first Single Malt to be fully endorsed – raw ingredients, distillation, maturation and bottling – and certified organic to the rigorous standards set by the Soil Association. This is a fresh, vivacious whisky. The nose reveals sweet oak scents and rich soft fruit (plantain, sultana, and pome). The palate exposes nougat and toffee flavors, and earthy crisped hazelnuts. The finish broadens to indistinct spices, more structured fruit, and resinous oak complexity. This is a luscious young malt with serious oak influence.
