The history of ChĂ¢teau Bel-Air, nestled in the heart of the Lussac Saint-Emilion appellation, dates back to the early 20th century. Today, Antoine and Guillaume, the 5th generation of the Roi Family, manage the estate. They form a complementary duo: Antoine oversees technical management, while Guillaume is responsible for the international promotion of the wines.

Since 2014, the family has collaborated with Stephane Derenoncourt and his team to enhance the quality and precision of the wines and to better express the terroir. The vineyard is situated on a broad plateau of blue clay with areas of limestone and gravel. The 21 hectares of vines are planted to Merlot which brings body and lush fruit while the Cabernet Franc adds aromatics and freshness.

JAMES SUCKLING 92-93 POINTS - "Plenty of blackberry with hints of chocolate, walnuts and plums. It’s full-bodied with round, layered tannins and a delicious, savory finish. Best ever?"
