Château Bel-Air has crafted a beauty with its Jean & Gabriel bottling which features rich and juicy dark fruits with a touch of cocoa and baking spice enveloped in silky soft tannins.

The 2020 vintage is renowned in Bordeaux for its purity of fruit, depth and complexity. This wine is a perfect example of the quality to be found from conscientious winemakers in a great year.

James Suckling gave this wine a score of 92-93 Points describing it as having, "Plenty of blackberry with hints of chocolate, walnuts and plums. It's full-bodied with round, layered tannins and a delicious, savory finish. Best ever?"

The history of Château Bel-Air, nestled in the heart of the Lussac Saint-Emilion appellation, dates back to the early 20th century. Today, Antoine and Guillaume, the 5th generation of the Roi Family, manage the estate. They form a complementary duo: Antoine oversees technical management, while Guillaume is responsible for the international promotion of the wines.

Since 2014, the family has collaborated with Stephane Derenoncourt and his team to enhance the quality and precision of the wines and to better express of the terroir. The vineyard is situated on a broad plateau of blue clay with areas of limestone and gravel. The 21 hectares of vines are planted to Merlot which brings body and lush fruit while the Cabernet Franc adds aromatics and freshness.

Through rigorous effort and a meticulous approach, Chateau Bel Air has crafted a delicious and very complete wine featuring vibrant fruit, soft tannins, excellent balance and a delightful freshness.

Enjoy this wine while we have it at the best price in the nation.
