Limited edition. Hard to find. Appleton Estate Master Blenders' Legacy celebrates the masterful talents of three of their greatest rum blenders: Owen Tullock, Joy Spence and David Morrison. Bottled at 43%, the blend includes various marques as old at 30 years combined with younger rums of 18, 15, 12 and 10 years to create a uniquely complex and satisfying expression. On the nose, scents of citrus peel and oak meld with dried fruit and toasted nuts, baking spices and butter. On the palate, the citrus notes lead to baked fruit pie with spices and butter nut brittle while the slightly bitter oak keeps the rum in near perfect balance. A serious testament to the art of the master blender.
