Only a handful of barrels are deemed exceptional enough to undergo the extensive Ruby Port cask finishing for this 124.5 proof Louisville, Kentucky-produced Bourbon. It’s staggeringly complex and multi-layered on the nose and palate, with an ultra-smooth, warm and sweet finish and a pleasant burn. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast awarded it 94 points

NOSE: Notes of honeyed apple, peach, apricot and overripe banana are present, along with black tea, toasted oak with a slight char and faint floral notes
PALATE: Butterscotch and raisins first and then you’ve got the cherry bomb, caramel and cinnamon all combined together. sweet brown sugar and orange peel
