MORE THAN A COMPANY, IT’S A PHILOSOPHY. TECHNICAL NOTES Casa Amarás is a company built through love; love for the sun, the land and the people who work it, and most of all, love for Mexico and its sacred plant - the agave. We believe in a beer world, developing a holistic model "From Seed to Sip" that connects, inspires, and denes what makes us dierent in the world of mezcal. Aware of our great ambitions, our mission is to evolve, grow and adapt, because we know that there is always room for improvement. Nomenclature: C2 Agave: Horno (A. Americana) Growth Period: 8 - 10 years Region: Albarradas, Oaxaca Oven/Wood: Conical earth oven / Oak Mill Type:Type: Hand-milled with canoe and wooden mallet Fermentation: Open and natural in a 1,200 L pine vat Still Type: Clay pot A B V: 46% WHAT MAKES MEZCAL AMARÁS LOGIA HORNO DIFFERENT: Nomenclature: C2: Very high concentration of agave, carefully craed ancestrally using small clay-pot stills, which creates silky Mezcals with a wide range of avors and aromas and a toasted nish. Its uniqueness: Amarás Logia Horno, a unique distillate in its class. It is a ritual created for disconnection and enjoyment of this limited edition, with only 244 boles. Its sea-green blue leaves resemble the tip of a spear, from which thorns of black and reddish hues emerge. This agave has been baptized as Maguey de Horno, as its leaves are used in an ancestral culinary practice: the preparation of underground barbecue meat (barbacoa). Traditionally craed with Agave Horno: A species of extreme rarity that, like everything special, the Maguey de Horno (Oven Agave) only blooms once in a lifetime, and when it does, it does so abundantly and extraordinarily. Its spirit is that of service: just as it can retain heat, it is capable of providing shade. It is even used in ceremonies of the high Mixteca region of Oaxaca. 100% Natural Fermentation: All fermentation occurs naturally with no sultes in open-air vats, using wild yeast native to the environment. Tasting Notes: Nose: Margaritas, honey, apricot, and subtle herbal notes. Palate: Coon candy, herbal prole of bell pepper, and nishes with mineral notes. Finish: Long, well-balanced smoke, ending with spicy notes of cinnamon and pepper. Awards: 2023 - Double Gold San Francisco World Spirits Competition
