VINOUS 92 POINTS - "Altocedro's 2020 La Consulta Select is a blend of 33% Malbec, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Syrah, 12% Tempranillo, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot from La Consulta, Uco Valley, all co-fermented and aged together. Dark garnet in the glass, the complex nose offers notes of clove, liqueur, blackcurrant and plum jam over a bed of mint. Smooth and medium bodied in the mouth, the intense flavors are accompanied by juicy tannins and acidity while the finish is long and involved.
